The Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), the professional membership body for ecologists and environmental managers, has named me as the 2013 recipient of the prestigious Institute Medal.
This is a huge honour, all the more precious for having been awarded by my peers, and very gratifying recognition for my lifetime of professional work in this field. In particular it was awarded for my work on the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
